There once was a grassy plain. Two wolves loved to run around and have fun together in this grassy plain. One's name was Lunara and the other's name was Raziel. They were the best of friends. As they spent their time together, Lunara eventually developed a crush on her male counterpart.
It was something she tried to ignore, but couldn't. He was too addictive to her, he was like a drug she couldn't quit. As the days and years went by, they grew closer to each other. Raziel got a job as an assassin while Lunara continued her role as a princess. She couldn't help but feel that since her Dad was king he always knew the right thing. The one day he told her she needed a prince, she knew exactly who to turn to. Her life long friend, Raziel.
As usual, they met up at their childhood meeting place, but before Lunara could tell Raziel her news, he pinned her to the lush grass and kissed her deeply. All the love Lunara had for Raziel went into that kiss. All the passion Raziel kept bottled up was in that one kiss. As they seperated, gasping for air they both declared their love for each other and were unseprable.
Then came that one day Raziel had to go on an important mission for Lunara's father.
He had promised her many things before that, but the only promise he couldn't keep was that he'd return.
As he left Lunara cried, knowing that he most likely would never return, but still kept hope. Hope that her first and only lover would return. After one year, he had only returned for a day and was off again. That day he returned, he told Lunara wonderous tales of his adventures and gave her many gifts, but the one gift that mattered most was a necklace. It was so beautiful, the way it matched her light blue streak pattern. He had made it just for her. As she looked up, she noticed he had an identical one, but with his red fur pattern.
Grateful, they shared many kisses and soft words that night, until morning when he had to take his leave once more. Another year passed and he hadn't returned. As another one of his friends sadly walked up and put something into Lunara's arms. It was Raziel's necklace....Sadened, Lunara went to the same grassy plain everyday in hopes that what she believed wasn't true and that her prince would return to her again.
